New Debit Card

If you need a new debit card, stop in at our branch and a Personal Banker will be able to assist you.

Debit Card Activation

Once you receive your new debit card, sign the back of the card and call us at 1-773-594-5900 to activate the card. Once activated, you can immediately use your card anywhere Visa® is accepted.

Replacement Debit Card

If your debit card is lost or stolen, contact us immediately so we can close the card and issue a new one.

  • Call us immediately at 1-773-594-5900, or after hours call 1-800-236-2442, so we can deactivate the card and review your current transactions for any unauthorized charges.
  • Stop by to see us in person to complete an application for a new card.
  • A new card will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.

Lost or Stolen Debit Card

Understanding Daily Debit Card Limits

There is a daily maximum limit on the dollar amount and the number of transactions that you can make using your First Nations Bank Debit Card. Your card also has a maximum limit on the dollar amount of cash withdrawals each day that you can make at an ATM.

Choose Debit and using your PIN number

  • $500 per day transaction limit up to 20 transactions per day

Choose Credit and using your signature

  • $500 per day transaction limit up to 20 transactions per day

ATM withdrawal limits

  • $500 per day up to 10 transactions per day

AFT (account funding transactions)

  • $500 per day up to 20 transactions per day

Zero Liability Fraud protection does not apply to ATM withdrawals or PIN transactions not processed by Visa. Notify First Nations Bank immediately of any unauthorized use.
